Shahrukh, Jadeja Kajol among winners of Style Award

MUMBAI, July 20: Film stars Shahrukh Khan and Kajol, cricketer Ajay Jadeja and tabla maestro Ustad Zakir Hussain are among the winners of the first annual Elle Style Awards 1999.

Other celebrities were Daler Mehndi (music), Dr Prannoy Roy (television), Milind Soman and Lisa Ray (models), Manish Malhotra (designer), Shabana Azmi (politics), Vijay Mallya (business) and Peter Mukherjea (professional).

The awards were presented at a glittering function in Mumbai on Saturday. The Elle Style Icon Award went to model Madhu Sapre.

Publisher-editor of Elle magazine, Nirja Shah said the winners were chosen by the people through ballot papers in the magazine and internet. (UNI)
